Monday August 12, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Will tells Liam he has doubts about Poppy, RJ fills his parents in on Katie’s suspicions, and Katie thinks another paternity test should be run.
Katie called Chief Baker and warned Bill that Poppy murdered Tom and Hollis.
At Bill’s Katie begs him to believe her when she says she has evidence Poppy is dangerous.
Poppy and Luan arrive. Katie tells them she’s warning Bill about what she did.
Poppy is not having this and demands that she stop poisoning Bill against her and leave.
Katie declares that Poppy had motive for murder. Poppy shakes her head.
Bill says this needs to stop and Luna tells Katie she’s being hurtful.
The Logan declares the facts speak for themselves and explains that she knows all about the backpack and that Hollis knew about before his mysterious demise.
Poppy isn’t pleased that RJ told Katie about the letters and Luna told him.
Katie explains everything she knows and that Poppy said she was taking things into her own hands.
She’s sure she sacrificed two lives to keep from losing him.
Poppy shakes her head.
She admits to Bill that she saw Tom on the day he died and told him to stop harassing her.
Bill doesn’t know why she talked to him alone and in secret when he has people to take care of this.
Katie declares that another paternity test needs to be done to prove that Luna is actually his daughter.
Someone bangs on the door. It’s Chief Baker.
He explains that based on what Katie gave him, they were able to get a search warrant for Poppy’s apartment.
They found the backpack.
Luna declares her mom is a good person. Baker explains he has evidence.
Opening up the backpack, he shows that there is a tin of drugs in it.
They are the same drugs that Poppy takes but they are laced and deadly.
“I would never!” says Poppy. She begs her daughter to believe her.
Baker declares they have motive, opportunity, and evidence. That’s enough to take her in.
Luna asks her mom if the paternity test was real. Poppy insists it was and swears she’s innocent.
Katie shakes her head.
Bill tells the cops to do what they have to do and hopes this is a misunderstanding.
The cops read Poppy her rights and arrest her before leading her out.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge and Brooke are making out in the office.
She suggests she go to the gym to work out.
She thinks she needs to look good now that she’s a model again.
RJ interrupts with pizza.
They can immediately see something is wrong.
Their son isn’t sure he should talk about. It’s shocking stuff.
His mom wants to know so he explains Luna found Tom’s backpack in the apartment and it was full of letters claiming he was Luna’s father.
Katie thinks that the backpack is a smoking gun and Poppy was trying to stop Tom.
Brooke wonders if Poppy was feeling cornered.
RJ doesn’t think Poppy is capable of murder.
It would be devastating for Luna if it’s true.
Ridge still assumes that Sheila is involved in all of this but Brooke assumes her sister must have reasons for her suspicions.
Liam joins Will at Il Giardino and they joke around. Liam hear about his “awkward re-entry into LA.”
Will guesses he means walking in on Billy and Poppy in bed. He adds that Poppy is nothing what he thought she’d be like.
He has some doubts about her and their new sister.
As they eat, he explains that he thinks they have made inroads in Bill’s life fast.
Liam thinks they should be glad to have a family but Will thinks it’s all strange. Luna and Poppy are now living large in what used to be his home.
Liam admits he thinks it’s weird that the paternity test was delayed for decades. But he thinks the Nozawas are good people.
Will wonders if his dad ever got over his mom.
Liam is sure that will never happen, especially since they “produced a not entirely obnoxious child.” He reminds his brother that their father is shrewd and can read Poppy.
Will still has doubts.
